Who is required to look after the welfare of livestock animals?
It is non-vegetarian "primary obligation to care for the welfare of livestock animals? If you say the cattle are created for non-vegetarians, why vegetarians desire for love, mercy and compassion for them? If they feel they are entitled to enforce the cruelty to animals as much as they can, but that's nothing to do with you. Why do you want for love, mercy and compassion to these animals? Please give a logical explanation.
Please explain your question logic! Are you asking something of vegetarians? Are you asking the question to non vegitarians? Are you saying that if the vegetarians do not eat animals – so why do they care about how animals treated? OK, I'll take the first line of the question: Ultimately the government is responsible to legislate minimum standards for care of livestock. It has nothing to do with vegetarians. For example, I worked for the Department of Meat Hygiene in Scotland (although I am an Australian – and a vegetarian) … were responsible for creating and enforcing standards for breeding, slaughtering and processing animals. The farmers had to comply with these standards, and subjected to regular inspections. For example, if the chickens in a chicken farm not have enough room to run, or that it was also stressed out at the time of slaughter, exploitation would be closed until they were a backup performance.
