where I do metal detecting around my town?
Hi, can someone give me some tips on metal detecting and where they do around my village. Alconbury live is a small town in England, Cambridgeshire. I can not enter the church or village green as the village council is delayed. where I do my metal detector and there are some secret tips that will help me. (I have a bounty hunter tracker IV) I want to find old coins and jewelry, etc.
I'm in the U.S., so I can not give any specific advice on where you live, but I can give some advice. Check around the base of trees. This always a good place to look. People, as you know looking to relax under the trees, either for shade or shelter from the rain. This is also where the bags are rule, which may have something fall on them. Some things never change. Online check images and old maps of its people and try to discern where these places are today. Even a house or a building that is Modern may have had a business or a house there for 200 years or more. Searching online is fun. Try to find a particular place is to judge characteristics and soil horizon as mountains, streams, hills, etc. This can be done more easily by using an old map, but you can also do just by looking at old photos.
