Health situation in villages in India!
It was one day when I was in my hometown in mental vacation.I was satisfied we are making good job in providing front-line health advice to people online and by phone worldwide. What happened there I just wonder if any turn can help rural patients if they have no idea what it takes to keep them safe and healthy.
There are an elderly couple who work in our land growing in a nearby town. My parents say that this couple had baby sitting me and all my cousins dozen. And they have been doing for the past four decades. Now for my nephews and nieces as well. The couple's daughter had recently had a miscarriage a few weeks ago and had to rush to our hospital in the city. The young was discharged from the hospital after a few days and she returned to her village. There he contracted an infection in the wound cuperating.
His in-laws thought that operation in the city was a waste and that is why the infection had set in a few days after she is discharged. Just see the irony. This time the elderly couple not to go to a doctor for your daughter. When I was in town, the old couple in the village had fallen to my meeting. For the last couple of months I wanted to write this post, but had no time to share with the world. Sometimes I feel like screaming at these people, but again you have to give them the benefit of the doubt that they are illiterate, are back so the next generation can progress well and not be swayed by faith and beliefs as useless. In these villages, the death of some infants and members family in a family is a common thing. The mother or baby dying during childbirth is a given and nobody bothers about it. Life just goes on.
Any solution to handle these cases? Before you need medical attention, they seem to need some education or continue to die and nobody will notice even. We keep the focus on the educated people around the world, but we are helpless in cases like this where these poor, uneducated or even need our help. even bigger problem – do not even know what to do in such cases doctors.
God. Give them a little sanity.
