Will Babies go to heaven or hell when they die?
Verses Given For Why a Baby or Child Will Go To Heaven
A man is conceived and born in sin. That God elects who will be saved to enter heaven.
1.”Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5
2. I write to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name. 1 John 2:12
3. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14
4. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy. 1 Corinthians 7:14
5. For the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works but of Him who calls. Romans 9:11
6. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Rev 20:15
7. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. Psa 23:6
8.Moreover your little ones and your children, who you say will be victims, who today have no knowledge of good and evil, they shall go in there; to them I will give it, and they shall possess it. Deuteronomy 1:39
9. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it. Mark 10:15
10. For before the Child shall know to refuse the evil and choose the good, the land that you dread will be forsaken by both her kings. (Isa 7.16)
11. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. John 6:39
12. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19–20
13. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. 1 John 2:2
14. The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born.” Matthew 26:24
15. “And it happened, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, that the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.” (Luke 1:41)
16. “For he (John the Baptist) will be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink . He will also be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb.” (Luke 1:15)
17. Even a child is known by his actions,by whether his conduct is pure and right. Pr 20:11
18. just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace .Ephesians 1:4-7
19.But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first are filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. Mk 7:27
20. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” (Acts 16:31)
21. …will be saved…”and your household.” seems to support Paul’s thought in 1Cor7:14
22. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world. But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” 7 Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. Galatians 4:3-7
23. “Because the Lord Himself shall come down from Heaven with a commanding shout of an archangel’s voice, and with God’s trumpet. And the dead in Christ will rise again first. Then we who remain alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to a meeting with the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord. (1Th4:16-17)
24. The LORD hath called me from the womb…” (Isaiah 49:1).
25. As it is written in the law of the Lord, “Every male who opens the womb shall be called holy to the LORD
26. I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well.

27. But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.(2 Timothy 3:14-15)
28. Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish. Matthew 18:14
29. Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned thirty-one years in Jerusalem. And he did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, and walked in the ways of David his father; and he did not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet a boy, he began to seek the God of David his father, and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem of the high places, the Asherim, and the carved and the metal images. 2 Chronicles 34:1-3
30. Gather the people together, men and women and little ones, and the stranger who is within your gates, that they may hear and that they may learn to fear the LORD your God and carefully observe all the words of this law, 13 and that their children, who have not known it, may hear and learn to fear the LORD your God as long as you live in the land which you cross the Jordan to possess Deuteronomy 31:12-13
31. And when all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and you call them to mind among all the nations where the LORD your God has driven you, and return to the LORD your God, you and your children, and obey his voice in all that I command you today, with all your heart and with all your soul, then the LORD your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you, and he will gather you again from all the peoples where the LORD your God has scattered you.
(Deuteronomy 30:1-3)
32. Only take heed to yourself, and diligently keep yourself, lest you forget the things your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. And teach them to your children and your grandchildren Deuteronomy 4:9
33. You shall teach them to your children, talking of them when you are sitting in your house, and when you are walking by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
(Deuteronomy 11:19)
34. Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” Acts 2:38, 39
35. “Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?” 48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Acts 10:47-49
36. Acts 16:15 – Paul baptized Lydia and her entire household. The word “household” comes from the Greek word “oikos” which is a household that includes infants and children.
37.1 Cor. 7:14 – Paul says that children are sanctified by God through the belief of only one of their parents.
38. Gather the people, Sanctify the congregation, Assemble the elders,
Gather the children and nursing babes; Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber, And the bride from her dressing room. Let the priests, who minister to the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar; Let them say, “Spare Your people, O LORD, And do not give Your heritage to reproach, that the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, Where is their God?’” Then the LORD will be zealous for His land, And pity His people. Joel 2:16-18
39. Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.” Mark 9:37
40. The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Romans 8:16
41. Brothers, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be adults. 1 Corin 14:20
Verses why the Babies do not go heaven,
1. Ezekiel 18:4 ; For every living soul belongs to me, the father as well as the son–both alike belong to me. The soul who sins is the one who will die.
2. The wicked are estranged from the womb; They go astray as soon as they are born, speaking lies.–Psalm 58:3
3. Behold, I was shaped in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Psalms 51:5
4. Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam [the son] of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness 2 Peter 2:14-15.
5. Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. Ephesians 2:3
6. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3
7. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6
8. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:10
9. Surely you did not hear, Surely you did not know; Surely from long ago your ear was not opened. For I knew that you would deal very treacherously, And were called a transgressor from the womb. –Isaiah 48:8
10. Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned. Romans 5:12
11. There is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. Romans 3:11

13. “Fathers shall not be put to death for their children, nor shall the children be put to death for their fathers; a person shall be put to death for his own sin. (Deu 24:16)
14. I will not have mercy on her children, For they are the children of harlotry. Hosea 2:4
15. Except a man be born of water and (of) the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” (John 3:5).
16. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.
(Exodus 20:5-6)
17. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. Mark 16:16
18. When your children sinned against him, he gave them over to the penalty of their sin. Job 8:4
19. I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds. Revelation 2:23
