Crystal and glass experts, come here! Questions about the appearing window cleaning, which brands, etc. ..?
I began to collect objects glass and glass (vintage and modern), and have been doing much research. But it's all so confusing. I heard glass depression was the best (more rare collection) … then I heard Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG), then I heard EAPC (Early American Prescut) is .. (I do not know what it is !!??) And then I learned that what matters is the pattern, as some are rarer than others … imperial wheels, hobstar, fingerprint, diamonds glow solar, stellar, fashion, the list is endless! And then there are the brands! What brands are "good?" And it does good? I've heard of Swarovski Mikasa Carnival, Shannon Goding, Imperial … Once again, the list seems endless! Can someone please teach me something? I am sooo lost here! Is it bad for bringing together the different pieces and patterns of different brands? Color of glass against glass clear? And what is the proper way to clean the glass? HELP!
More of an expert in cleaning a glass expert! I know that depression glass is easier to collect because it is more of the same market, but it less than it used to be for the same reason. There is also a lot of glass imitation is depression so difficult to know the real from the fake. But in the Cleaning …. I always washed my glass with hot soapy water and a little white vinegar added in the vinegar helps to cut grease and dirt. I also rinse with a little more vinegar and hot water.
