Real Legacy Thailand Discover the Majestic Palace Suan Pakkad
A former royal residence, the majestic Palace Suan Pakkad was originally built by the Major General Prince Chumbhot Bongs Paribatra at the beginning of the 1950's as a collective enclave ancient Thai houses and new construction. Now, nearly fifty years later, the actual compound enormous mansion is a museum that attracts locals and visitors with its magnificent antiques, art collections and architectural beauty conventional.
Located in Sri Ayudhya Road in the Thai capital, the palace covers eight traditional Thai houses including several that were brought from its location original Chiang Mai and reassembled at its present location. While some of the houses have been left in its original state, others have become exhibition spaces to showcase the wealth objects and antiques are an integral part of the royal household. Must see attractions in the Palace of Pakkad Suan Ban Chieng include artifacts that document the heritage 4000 Years of Ban Chieng communities. Complete with bronze jewelry, axes, spearheads and painted ceramics are also invited glass beads, Benjarong pottery, bracelets, money, shells, minerals, rocks and ceramic items with the cable in this special exhibition.
At the southern end of the garden Pavilion is the lacquer that is also another highlight frequented the palace complex. Transported from their original location on the flag is believed Ayudhya have been built in the 17th century and was used to store scripts in its heyday. A fine example of Thai art and architecture, the pavilion houses a room inside a room with a narrow corridor which completely surrounds the inner chamber. Inside the inner chamber is decorated in black lacquer and gold, while Brokers offer spectacular gilded carvings.
The Marsi Gallery is also worth exploring. Meanwhile, the first house has extensive Prince Paribatra the collection of musical instruments including a Gong Wong Yai, three-stringed violin, gongs, drums and xylophones. The second and third homes, 17a articles Home of the century, as mother of pearl tray, sterling silver, and a replica of the throne of Thailand, while the fifth and eighth houses an impressive collection show of clay figurines, puppets and masks.
